Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM), previously referred to as ‘Wave 2’, seeking to modernize and overhaul existing Department of the Air Force network infrastructure (Classified and Unclassified/NIPR and SIPR) with the goal to modernize the networks to industry standards by providing increased availability and resiliency of networks, reliable performance for all users through more pervasive wireless connectivity, and a modern network architecture. Demand Management DM is a data-driven methodology to better deploy enterprise IT services according to user community assessment and measured facility demand.

Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) is a Department of the Air Force Initiative leveraging commercial business services and best practices providing standardized, innovative, and agile IT service across the enterprise.
